What to Expect When Visiting Emergency Services

Arrival and Check-in

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our staff and asked to provide basic information about your condition, medical history, and any medications you are taking. If your condition requires immediate attention, you will be taken directly to a treatment area.

Triage

A registered nurse will evaluate your symptoms to determine the urgency of your condition. Patients with the most critical needs are treated first, but we are committed to providing timely care for all.

Examination and Treatment

You will be seen by a provider who will perform a thorough evaluation and may order tests such as blood work, imaging, or other diagnostics to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Our goal is to address your immediate medical needs while keeping you informed throughout the process.

Communication

Our team will keep you updated on your care plan, test results, and next steps. If needed, specialists may be consulted to ensure comprehensive care.

Discharge or Admission

After treatment, you may be discharged with instructions for at-home care and follow-up or admitted to the hospital for further care if required. We may also transfer patients to a higher level of care if needed based on the severity of their medical needs or need for specialized care/services. We’ll ensure you understand your treatment plan and answer any questions before you leave.

Compassionate Support

We understand that a visit to the Emergency Room can be stressful. Our team is here to provide not only medical care but also emotional support for you and your loved ones.
